Quality content does count Bob, but we must remember that at the moment, content is being evaluated by the search engine spiders and not human beings. They use algorithms created by people, but sometimes, man (read site owner) is able to beat the machine (read the spiders). However, the point you are raising is valid. This is where SEO comes in and SEO is one whole new area of discussion.
